Just in! This unbelievable, benchmark level one-owner 1964 Comet Caliente Hardtop Coupe! It is indeed the “little old lady owned” pampered example we all dream about. Better still it is a loaded example with factory V-8, automatic, power steering, power brakes, and dealer-installed Mercury air conditioning. I love unrestored cars, and when I saw this one I knew I had to have it. It sports its original factory paint, original interior, original glass, trim, drivetrain, you name it- its original and simply MINT. It runs and drives just as new, strong, smooth, and quiet, and even the factory air blows ice cold. The chassis is just phenomenal, completely undisturbed with incredibly well preserved factory finishes, paint marks, and even grease pencil markings. Lift the carpets or the trunk mat and you’ll find mint factory jute backing and shiny factory paint. The glass, stainless, and chrome are all exceptional. Panel fit and paint condition is exemplary. Only a few service items have been replaced over its charmed life and 74k miles, and she just glows.
Simply put, they just don’t get much better than this.
