There was no other dealer or collector that we felt as comfortable with. No high pressure sales routine, no smoke and mirrors, no unreasonable prices.

To prospective collector car buyers:

I had never heard of Classic Auto or Colin Comer when my wife and I began searching for a 1969 GTO Judge. During one internet search, I found Classic Auto and began speaking with Colin about locating the “perfect” car. I also began searching auctions, attending car shows, reading various publications, contacting and visiting other dealers and speaking with several private collectors. My wife and I even flew to the East Coast to view a 1969 Judge.

During my search, Colin indicated that he had several Judges that fulfilled our requirements. I made the initial mistake of thinking that high quality cars were relatively common. After all, here was a dealer located within our own hometown that had produced a number of truly show quality automobiles that fit our requirements perfectly within a relatively short period of time.

After numerous telephone calls, disappointed viewings (including our trip to the East Coast) and dead ends, we realized the mistake we made in assuming that quality cars were easy to find. We won’t even mention the fact that what had seemed like “fully priced” Judges at Classic Auto now looked like real bargains. Unfortunately, Colin’s automobiles were long gone by the time we realized our error.

We spoke many times with Colin during our search. He was always polite and extremely informative regarding GTO Judges and the collector car market in general. Colin quickly earned our trust and my wife and I agreed to simply rely upon his judgment and expertise in finding our car. There was no other dealer or collector that we felt as comfortable with. No high pressure sales routine, no smoke and mirrors, no unreasonable prices.

Colin informed us that he had a car that differed slightly from the 1969 GTO Judge that we desired. It was a 1970 Baja Gold Judge in true Survivor condition. I wasn’t too familiar with the model year or the color. However, with Colin’s endorsement, I knew the car must be remarkable. We saw the car the day after Colin received it and wrote a check on the spot. No more mistakes. The car has been an absolute pleasure in every sense to own.

My wife and I often speak about how pleased we were with Colin’s service. He continues to offer his assistance well after the sale has been completed. My wife and I hope to collect a number of cars over the years. I expect to deal with Colin and Classic Auto in locating and purchasing every car. Truly, a wonderful experience.

Sincerely,
Troy and Peg Giles
